Hashiya aims to guard faith with reason and enhance reason with faith. While Yaqeen’s pastoral focus addresses the broad spiritual needs of Muslims globally, Hashiya adopts a more academic yet still accessible tone. It is tailored for a narrower readership of thinkers and changemakers who seek authoritative scholarship, broad intellectual horizons,  and transformative ideas.

Our vision is to draw deeply on Islamic roots while expanding the horizons of Muslim discourse. We challenge the neocolonial order that hinders Muslim flourishing and stand resolute in our purpose: to inspire scholarship that inquires, deconstructs, and reconstructs. Hashiya fosters a community of engaged intellectuals and informed community leaders by creating collaboration between scholars, intellectuals, scientists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries in service of a globalizing Ummah.
